Marion-LW32 to 60 (32-60kg/m3) grade Mineral Wool / Rock Wool is installed in the cavity space of floors, walls and ceilings. It is designed to help absorb airborne noise in a similar way that a bathroom sponge ab-sorbs water.

The density of Marion-LW Mineral / Rock Wool is greater than normal insulation products and so is much more efficient at ab-sorbing noise.  
It is used extensively in buildings and throughout industry to give acoustic, thermal and fire insulation. It is particularly useful as a sound absorbing infill for the reduction of airborne sound be-tween flooring joists, suspended ceilings, stud partitioning and in combination with our another products as soundproofing ceilings & walls.
